Ranger's Game!

Went to the Rangers’ Game for Riley’s 13th Birthday! It was fantastic and we won!

Dallas Rock N Roll Half Marathon

 

I remember it like it was just last week…oh wait >:D
My parents, my brothers and I raced in the Dallas Rock ‘N Roll Half Marathon (13.1 miles) last week. After lots of training, I am happy to say that we all did very well!
My dad beat his pr and made his goal time, my mom and little brother ran together and beat last year’s time by over 30 minutes. Hunter, who is now in college and had no time to train had a wonderful pace as well!
As for me, I did pretty well. As you can see in this picture, I placed second in my age group by 55 seconds—55 little seconds. I had some trouble with my jackets (it was about 30 degrees) and had I not had those problems, I could’ve easily placed first. After the race, I wasn’t winded, just cold so I know I can do better. AND I WILL-I will be back next year for first place! >:D
I am happy to say that we are all feeling great after the race and God has blessed me and my whole family with determination which I am thankful for. ♥
I also want to say thank you to my Dad who helped pace me during the race training.
